Synopsis:

 

Across inhospitable wastelands travels the battered remnants of a defeated army, hounded along their way by the vengeful victors.  Hope seems all but lost until they stumble upon an ancient city.  It is a place of dread though, of lingering evils from the distant past.

Stuck between the two, there are few choices to be had and so, led by the indomitable Peregrine and her companion Blade, they head into the city, seeking only a place of refuge, if one can be found.
